Some fun facts about AMA..​

1. The Alaska Miners Association was founded in 1939.. way before Alaska was even a state.

2. AMA has 8 statewide branches from Anchorage to Fairbanks and all the way to Ketchikan.

3. Our Executive Director, Deantha Skibinski, has been involved in the resource industry for 19 years!

4. AMA has 1,300 dedicated members that range from students to placer miners to big time corporate companies.

The Alaska Miners Association is a non-profit corporation headquartered in Anchorage with branches located in Anchorage, Denali, Fairbanks, Haines, Juneau, Kenai, Ketchikan/Prince of Wales Island, and Nome.
